About This Special Issue
Global energy consumption, due to rapid developments on the back of population growth, climate change, disruptive global pandemic, and etc, is at important divide. Energy resources continue to be stressed, at an alarming rate to satisfying high demands throughout the world. In year 2030, global demand for energy is reached peak, according to prediction by World Energy Council.
Balancing between preserve energy raw materials, sustenance of necessities, and the resultant carbon footprints, is going to need massive rethought and strategies. Advancements in science and technology nowadays is allowing management of resources and energy to take a future step. Already in many efforts of managing future energy today, soft computing is taking a great leap in giving us more information of high importance. Systematic energy management is now possible to do wonders of computer aided simulations, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, etc. As results, future energy is being designed and managed today, where a) planning b) design (and retrofitting) c) construction d) operation and maintenance are now systematically governed.
